ABOUT

"I got the idea for odd space after I lived for 4 months in Seoul, South Korea. The accessory trends I came across in Seoul were often "alien, future and cyber" trends. of course seoul is a very diverse city with different trends, but cyber y2k is a big part of k-pop culture and aspects of this can be seen in many different styles. You can easily combine cyber trends with grunge or streetwear, but also if you have to dress nicely for a cocktail party.”

Fantastic experiences inspired me to try to convey them through jewelery and accessories

In 2022 I lived for 3 months in South Korea while simultaneously studying Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Living in the heart of Seoul, one of Asia's fashion capitals, was a very special experience. I attended Seoul Fashion Week SS/23 and networked with various designers and influencers.

I am personally very inspired by how fashion is divided in Seoul. Gangnam for fine clothing, Jongno for cute clothing, Itaewon for a sexy expression and the popular Hongdae style in the form of street alternative clothing. The big trends are a lot of emphasis on the cyber style, which I am personally very impressed with, it is clearly seen as a concept with many k-pop groups such as Aespa, XG, EXO, Monsta X, Black Pink, GOT7, Red Velvet etc.

Our mission is to convey alternative accessories with inspiration from Korean trends. We will keep up with trends and have the latest news on the platform.
